Business as Energy

By Deb Schnitta

Business, regardless of how large or small, is a series of interrelated structures of energy that feed and influences one another. This process of creation is begun by units of energy. Energy, tiny carriers of consciousness are present in each creation that you as an entrepreneur, a secretary, a vendor choose to engage with. Creating is the act of drawing to you what is needed for a particular form or idea to come to fruition. Energy is part of what is needed in that process.

You might think of these tiny units as the particles of consciousness that hold within them the template for the actual creation. Everything exists in a state of energy before it manifests in form. Whether you are thinking of adding a new division, exploring a new marketplace or adding a single employee to your expanding business, energy is at the foundation of each of these endeavors. Tiny packets of useable units of consciousness waiting to be drawn together to serve in a coalesced fashion that may begin the building of something larger are waiting for you, the creator of your adventures to interact with them.

Bringing consciousness to business is much the same as exploring the energy of business. Each interaction you have with an employee or coworker is the exchange of energy. There is the energy of the conversation, the energy in the content of what you are imparting to one another as well as the energy of creation that is being fueled by the exchange. The consciousness of the exchange also has a tone of energy. This energy may be thought of as a quality, much like you might think of a feeling tone.

A simple exchange with someone who is not supportive to your vision might leave you with the experience of being depleted, while a brief interaction with someone who respects your ambition and aligns his or her energy may boost your energy, the useable units extended in your direction.

Energy, the useable commodity of creating something new, a new approach, a new position in the market place, a new vision for the company, is able to be accessed in conscious ways so that you may begin to draw to you actively what is needed, what is supportive and what may expand even beyond the emergent need that is growing. Interacting in this way invites in the larger flows of consciousness and creativity. You, as the ruder for your creations, streamline these useable units of flow in your direction through your clarity and intention. You crate space for them to enter your system, whether it is the system of your organization, or the system of your own body through an opening being available.

Energy may be thought of as water, it travels the path of least resistance. It is alive and houses consciousness. It is useable for creation and it grows as you interact with it, as you extend your energy to it becomes more enlivened.

How you interact in each exchange is as significant as what you do in that exchange. How you act, the energy behind your words, as well as your thoughts all contribute to the process of flow and movement that is inherent in the act of creating.

Beginning to clarify your desires, what you would like to create initiates the streamlining of these units. Through your intention you actively engage with drawing to you what is needed. You begin to understand that chance is less common than actively engaging with the world. You understand through experience your role in creating what you desire. You see this process as an extension of consciousness that draws to you what is needed. You as the creator of your life open to the possibility that there are more than your thoughts that arise from within guiding your acts in the world.

Business then can be seen as the expression of your life work in physical form. Whether you are here to lead, here to support or here to explore business and your unique role in that process is part of the expression of this purpose. Allowing yourself to see the impact of your purpose in your current role assists in developing understanding for who you are and what capacity wells within. You seek new experiences to understand this capacity further. You align more fully in what you have to offer and see each exchange as an opportunity to explore the mastery of energy, to offer out to the creations who you are and what is innately within you.
